A proposed intersection in a Northern New Mexico town raised some concerns among local residence owners, fearing an increase in traffic and an intrusion on their property. Images Plus was contacted and assigned to render two intersections as well as create two animations with actual traffic data at certain peak times.

Unlike a composite rendering of a single structure or object, this project required that the surrounding homes and other contextual details be included as well as a steady stream of vehicular traffic. Using numbers attained from a traffic study, we created animations of specific time lengths for these traffic counts.

Using the surface data and design linework provided by Bohannan Huston's traffic engineer, we created the digital environment with Lightwave 3d and rendered the scene with radiosity for realistic looking animations and renders.
